Welcome to mune. A place where we celebrate food and traditions, and honor the culture of ethical gastronomy.
Mune (Mooneh) is a thousand years old practice of preserving food through various techniques (drying, pickling…etc.). This sacred ritual was born in the lebanese villages, and was necessary in the olden days, as people had to find a way to make their spring and summer crops last through the winter to be able to survive.
Even until today, every village family still preserves the tradition of making mooneh, Because it’s become part of the Lebanese culture and gastronomy.
And so, straight from Beirut, we have brought our timeless cuisine to Madrid: Hummus, Tabbouleh, Fatush, falafels, Kibbeh, kafta….
A delicate, healthy and different cuisine that tells our culture through varied ingredients and flavors, suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and meat lovers.
Mune is family. And friends. Mune is home. Our table is set and we look forward to welcoming you!
